Name: Kouzou Sakai
Occupation: Illustrator
Location: Yokohama, Japan

Born in 1977 in Miyazaki, Japan. I have loved animals, birds, insects, plants and making sketches of them since I was little. After having graduated from Dept. of Animal Science and Biotechnology in the University, I worked at design production. And I have been working as freelance Illustrator since 2002.
I'm good at drawing visional world. My illustration is based on peace and is studded with elements such as beauty, nostalgia, delight. I'd like to draw an illustration which touches softly beholder's memory and feeling.
